U.Z.Z.U.
were one of the most underrated punk bands from the perestroika years. This CD-R
will try to give you the idea who were they, a band with an awesome energy and
talent.
Some
legend says John Peel took their master tapes (while visiting Bulgaria in the
very early 90s) to play them on BBC and he played them once…but the band lost
the studio maters!
This
release features their two demos. The lyrics deal with various topics, from
alcohol to the “fun” of living in People’s Republic of Bulgaria. U.Z.Z.U.
still exist under one form or another and the last known contact for their

They never released anything on the time they existed, but later on songs by them appeared on “Greetings fom Bulgaria” comp. tape and “Bulgarian Archives” comp. 7” EP.
